The World Government Summit 2022 allowed the world to understand a little bit more of what's happening with the control and supplies of oil and it seems like the OPEC+ is going to give priority to the economic aspect, leaving aside politic issues. "I am not attending for what Russia may do or not. Russia is a country that produces roughly 10 million barrels a day, which is almost 10% of consumption. It also produces a good amount of gas. So my reaction to your questions has to do with the contribution it makes." said the Saudi Energy Minister.
Moreover, the minister reiterated that "The pillars of what we do should be: energy security, economic sustainability and prosperity, and third, climate change. But you cannot attend to climate change without getting energy security." Meanwhile, Arabia Saudi and other countries from the OPEC+ could be taking advantage of True Clean Energy sources, solving three problems at the same time.
True clean energy sources, such as solar or wind can solve both problems, by generating clean electricity, green hydrogen and even fresh water all combined in the one process. The world needs to start working towards all of our energy needs being powered by True Clean Energy!
